In spite of all their time and efforts in protecting people and loving them, there are still too many times the prescience of pets is unwelcome by people. In a world of technology, money, and many animal rescue groups…. There are still people who think of animals as indispensable and throw their unwanted pets out in the trash. Pretty sad, huh?
It is a bad reflection on society. As St. Francis of Assisi wrote, "If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow man."
This book is written in the hopes that by reading about pets and their names, people will gain a better appreciation of the furry friends and heroes that do so much for us.
